Hi!
My name is María Rubio and I am an artist from the south of Spain, with an interest in everything creative.
For the past 5 years, I've been working in the animation industry, mainly as a Background artist but also as a Prop designer/rigger.
Before I jumped into animation I worked in a Graphic Design studio, where I started as an Art Directo assistant but did such a good job, that after 9 months I got promoted to Art Director and had the chance of working with tons of talented artists around the world.
In my spare time, I like to illustrate for myself, focusing on subjects that interest me, such as food or climate change. And besides drawing my other big passion y anything related to textiles, like sewing, embroidery, crochet...
